Capatriti Olive Oil: A Recipe for Brand Transformation

After Capatriti was accused of deceptive labeling, they worked closely with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and became the first brand to earn the USDA Quality Monitoring Program Seal for their Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
 
With their new USDA QMP Seal, Capatriti was reinvented as the “The Honest Olive Oil” company, whose mission was to bring honesty and transparency to an industry rife with fraud. (Yes, not all other olive oils are made from olives.) A new website was launched, partnerships with influencers were developed, and original content was created for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
 
It was a recipe for success. Six months after launch, display and integrated media delivered over 2.2 million impressions, driving traffic to the website. YouTube saw over 7 million impressions, and over 2 million video views. Facebook likes increased over 900%, garnering over 150 million impressions.  

Proof that honesty is definitely the best policy.
